Love at First Hike: Mt. Gulugod Baboy

Mt. Gulugod Baboy in Anilao, Mabini Batangas with an elevation of 525MASL is where I made my first official climb. I brought along some of my closest friends with me for this awesome adventure. We were all first time hikers that time with no idea what’s ahead of us on that trip until we hit the summit then everything’s surreal.

  1. Your pictures are stunning and beautiful. It would be really interesting to learn more about the location, facilities and tips for hikers as well. Do you have a post with more hiking info?

  2. I guess it’s easy to fall in love when you have such a beautiful view from the top of the mountain! I know that sometimes standing out against a sea of cloud from a high peak is fantastic too, but I much more prefer when I can see a real sea beneath me, that fulfill my heart with joy!

  3. What a fabulous part of the world and one that you did a great job capturing. I particularly enjoyed what you managed to do with the filtering sunlight, something which I find very difficult to do in my pictures. It certainly looks as though the climb was worth it!

  6. The hike ended with such amazing views, I am sure all your fatigue would have evaporated on reaching the summit and seeing the lovely views. The sunset is really magical, I can almost feel the experience.

  7. Excellent views from the top after the hike! It is actually new for me because I trek in the Himalayas, far away from the sea. View of the ocean from the green hills is something I must catch now.
